If you are a frequent visitor to Bali, knowing a lot of tourism objects, not hurt you to know a little about balinese calendar
For that let us convert your birth date into the balinese calendar  .................... upss  it easy, very easy .........

Use this calendar bali motivated by a desire to preserve Pawukon Sciences, which is a richness of Indonesian culture that is not extinct, because if extinction is similar to forget the history of our nation ..

Recognized or not, knowledge of Pawukon actually almost forgotten by the people of Indonesia, especially Bali people, because of the current modernization of society, especially urban communities, or the people of Bali who was born outside of Bali who can not remember the Day of Birth, Pasaran, and  Wuku of day birth

Pawukon distinguish day to 30 wuku, where each wuku in power for a week (7 days) starts on a Sunday and ending on Saturday, so that within 1 (one) period or 1 (one) Oton = 210 days (ie 7 x 30)

As for the 30 wuku are: Sinta, Landep, UKir, Kulantir, Tolu, Gumbreg, Wariga, Warigadean, Julungwangi, Sungsang, Dunggulan, Kuningan, Langkir, Medangsya, Pujut, Pahang, Kerulut, Merakih, Tambir, Medangkungan, Matal, Uye , Menahil, Perangbakat, Bala, UGU, Wayang, Kelawu, Dukut, Watugunung.

Each Wuku affect human birth during one week or seven days and calculations influenced by Pasaran (Umanis, Pahing, Pon, Wage, Keliwon), thus forming a 35 combination between Day and Pasaran (7 x 5) are: Sunday-Umanis, Monday- Pahing, Tuesday-Pon, Wednesday - Wage-Thursday-Keliwon ..........

To find Wuku, and Pasaran, use Microsoft Program Ecxel , while the function used is:

1. Date @ date function (year,moon, date)

2. Time Distribution Function @ Mod

By dividing Date of Birth with 210 using the function @ mod so obtained number that is the remainder of the division (remember the format Cell  is GENERAL, not the Date format) and then match it with the following table, then the birth was obtained

Example:

1. Date 10-10-2010 ---> @ mod (@ date (2010,10,10), 210) = 141
